Emerging from the fertile banks of the Mersey Estuary, Requiem Blues are spearheading the new wave of no nonsense British hard rock. Blending the spirit and sound of Budgie with the street level gloom of early Pentagram, this Scouse power trio are the real deal. With an emphasis on creating immersive songs with memorable melodies and extended blues jams, the band have created something that sounds fresh but still has a grounding in the heady daze of the golden age of heavy rock. This might be a Requiem in name, but it’s alive and well and coming to a town near you.
